Sign-Up for Summer Reading Club: June 10^th On this day you can sign up for Summer Reading Club and start reporting your books or hours. Please fill out a contract stating how many books you will read over the seven week period. After you read a book or hour fill out a slip and drop it in the appropriate jar. Weekly check your name card to see how you’re progressing and to check for prizes attached to your card. Everyone gets a prize for reaching their reading goal. You may sign-up on or any day after this day and report your books as little or as often as you would like. (Last day to report books is July 18^th)

Book Mark Contest: June 10^th to July 20^th Come in once a week to the Welcome Desk and see if you have a lucky number. Lucky number winners get a prize, if you don’t have a lucky number you get candy! This event can be done any time you visit the library during business hours.

Check Out Contest: June 10^th to July 20^th Every time you come to the library and check out an item drop your name in the appropriate age range box and be entered to win a prize. Winners will be contacted at the conclusion of the Summer Reading Club to pick up their prizes. This event can be done any time you visit the library during business hours.

Story Time: Tuesdays and Fridays June 11^th through July 19^th 10:15- 11:00am Story time sign-ups will begin on June 3^rd and are held on Tuesdays and Fridays. So join us either Tuesday or Friday for stories, songs, crafts and fun! Story Time is intended for children 18 months and older and will be held at the library. Dan Dan the Magic Man: June 10^th at 3:30pm Dan Dan the Magic Man will perform a magic show that fits in with the Dig Into Reading! Summer Reading Club Theme. Dan Dan performs a variety of magic tricks and his magic show usually lasts 45 min to an hour. This event will be held at the library.

Game Day: June 12^th at 2:00pm Join in the cool air conditioning of the library to play games. We will get out the Library’s Wii system and provide board and card games. The program should last about an hour.
