ala accessibility grant

The Great Bend Public Library is proud to be chosen to be part of Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, a American Library Association initiative that provides community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities. In conjunction with this grant, we will be holding a community discussion to help us understand how the library can be a more accessible place inside and out. If you or someone close to you has mobility challenges, even temporarily, we want to hear from you to help us improve our library’s accessibility. Two sessions will be held on May 15th, in-person and on Zoom, at 11 AM and 5: 30 PM. Before then, we have a survey that you can take now to tell us about your experiences with using the library and its accessibility.
