Our next Third Thursday Speaker David Barnes will Our next Third Thursday Speaker David Barnes will be here on Thursday, February 16th at 6 PM. He will walk us through a visual look at why art and art making has been considered an essential part of our experience of being human. As well as touch on examples from philosophical, anthropological, biblical, and multi-cultural sources. 
David Barnes is the director of the Shafer Memorial Gallery in Great Bend, Kansas. Barnes earned his M.F.A. in painting from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College, NY. He also received an M.A in History from Missouri State University.
Our newest presenter Robby Wilcox will be here on Our newest presenter Robby Wilcox will be here on February 6th to teach 4th- 6th graders about microcomputers (Raspberry Pi). He will go over how to set up and use them for game emulation, portable computing, and media centers.
